About the role

You will provide direct patient care, supervision, and emotional support within a therapeutic environment while assisting with daily living activities. Additionally, you will monitor patient progress, document behaviors, and facilitate group or one-on-one therapeutic interactions using evidence-based approaches.

What you’ll do

As an active member of the treatment team, you will

  • Provide direct patient care, supervision, and support in a therapeutic environment
  • Build rapport with patients and assist with daily living activities and emotional support
  • Support patients during crisis situations using de-escalation techniques
  • Lead or assist with group sessions and one-on-one therapeutic interactions
  • Reinforce evidence-based approaches including CBT, DBT, and ERP techniques
  • Monitor and document patient behaviors, progress, and safety
  • Ensure a safe, structured, and supportive environment for patients and visitors
  • Assist with admissions, discharges, and patient orientation
  • Transport patients as needed for appointments or activities

Job Description

  • What we’re looking for
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred
  • At least 2+ years experience in direct patient care (or similar)
  • At least 18 years of age (age requirements vary by program)
  • Valid driver’s license in good standing
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to stay calm, professional, and supportive in high-energy environments
  • Interest in behavioral health, psychology, human services, or healthcare careers

Training & development (Provided)

Requirements
