• Purpose: - The Physical Therapy Assistant at GMG Health Systems Ltd is responsible for supporting licensed physical therapists in the delivery of high-quality patient care. • Responsibilities: - Assist physical therapists in the administration of treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs. - Monitor and document patient progress, reporting any changes or concerns to the supervising therapist. - Prepare treatment areas and equipment, ensuring they are clean, organized, and ready for patient use. - Educate patients and their families on exercises and activities to be performed at home to enhance recovery. - Maintain accurate and timely records of patient treatments and progress in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. - Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure coordinated and effective patient care. - Uphold patient confidentiality and adhere to ethical and professional standards in all interactions. - Participate in continuing education and professional development activities to stay current with industry advancements and best practices.
• QualificationsRequired
• Education: - Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assisting from an accredited program.
• Required
• Experience: - Minimum of 1-2 years of experience working as a Physical Therapy Assistant in a clinical setting. - Experience in assisting physical therapists with patient care and treatment plans. - Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems and documentation practices.
