Supervised Visitation worker with $1000 Hiring Bonus

• As a Supervised Visitation Worker, you will provide supervision and guidance to non-custodial parents and children in a supervised visit setting.
• You will supervise the visit to ensure the child’s well-being, communicate visit restrictions and the contract agreement to the visiting parent(s) and observe, interpret and accurately record all client remarks during the visitation.
• You will role model and/or verbalize effective parenting techniques as necessary during the visitation and communicate with a program supervisor to address questions, concerns and information/messages from social workers.
• You will be required to complete the required documentation and relay all mandated reporting and visit concerns to designated parties.
• In this position, you may be required to testify in court regarding visits.

Job Requirements

• A valid driver's license, acceptable driving record, and a Motor Vehicle Check.
• Successfully meet the requirements of a background check.
• Communication, crisis intervention, and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of child protection issues.
• Training or employment experience in physical abuse, sexual abuse, neglect, chemical dependency, mandated reporting and parenting skills are desired. Training/experience may have been obtained in a volunteer setting, school field placement or through own parenting experiences.
