The Clinical Research Nurse identifies and screens patients for clinical trials while managing the informed consent process and patient education. They also monitor patients for adverse events and ensure accurate data entry and documentation to maintain trial integrity.
Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program with current RN licensure and BLS/ACLS certification. A minimum of seven years of nursing experience is required for the Senior level, with oncology or research experience strongly preferred.
Work closely with physicians to identify and screen potential patients for clinical trial participation Present trial concepts and details to oncology patients while conducting the informed consent process. Assess patients for adverse events and/or changes in condition Provide staff and patient education regarding the management and administration of investigational product Ensure accurate and timely documentation and data entry to meet trial requirements Serve as a liaison between clinic departments to ensure proper trial conduct
