The Advanced Practice Provider performs physical examinations, formulates diagnoses, and develops treatment plans for patients in an urgent care setting. They also collaborate with supervising physicians and multidisciplinary team members to ensure efficient patient flow and high-quality clinical care.
Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program and hold current California licensure. At least two years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner or equivalent clinical experience is required, along with current board certification and DEA licensure.
At NorthBay Health the Advanced Practice Provider (APP) for Urgent Care functions as a member of the multidisciplinary medical team. The APP is a health care professional with advanced education and training in the care of the pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric populations. The APP works under the direction of a licensed physician. The APP is also directed by standardized protocols and procedures and in collaboration with the supervising physician.
The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) is classified as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner licensed in the state of California.
The APP will work in Napa/Solano County Areas.
