We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Oral Surgeon to join a brand-new, state-of-the-art oral surgery practice opening in Meridian, ID in early fall 2026. This is a unique opportunity to help build a practice from the ground up with strong operational and clinical support from SALT Dental Partners. The practice will benefit from a built-in, healthy referral base from established, high-performing pediatric dental offices in the area, including Idaho Kids Dentistry and Orthodontics and My Kid’s Dentist. Schedule & Growth Plan Initial Commitment: 12 days per month Starting with approximately 2 clinical days + 1 marketing/referral development day per week Near-Term Growth: Transition quickly to 3 clinical days per week Long-Term Opportunity: Scale up to 4 days per week as patient volume grows

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities Perform a full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgical procedures, including but not limited to: Extractions (including impacted third molars) Dental implants and bone grafting Exposure and bonding procedures IV sedation and general anesthesia cases Evaluate patients, develop treatment plans, and obtain informed consent Collaborate with referring dentists to ensure continuity of care Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation Participate in marketing and relationship-building efforts with referral partners (especially during initial ramp-up phase) Ensure compliance with all clinical, safety, and regulatory standards

Qualifications

& Requirements (Idaho) DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school Completion of an accredited Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency program Active or eligibility for Idaho dental license Active DEA registration Permit for administration of IV sedation/general anesthesia in Idaho (or ability to obtain) Board certification or board eligibility by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery preferred Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (or ability to obtain) Strong clinical skills with a patient-centered approach Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Willingness to participate in practice growth and referral development

Requirements

Candidates must hold a DDS or DMD degree and have completed an accredited Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency. Active Idaho dental licensure, DEA registration, and relevant sedation permits are required.
