Currently we are looking to fill the vital role of Ultrasound Technologist.

Job summary

Performs diagnostic sonographic examinations utilizing ultrasonic equipment to locate, evaluate and record critical functional, pathological, and anatomical data.

Coordinates tests, records test results, and prepares and maintains operational logs.

Calibrates and maintains equipment and orders supplies when needed.

Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.

Relies upon experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision.

A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Typically reports to a chief technologist or manager.

Qualifications

Licenses/Certificates required:

BLS Certificate

One of the following: 1. Graduate from an AMA-approved school of Sonography.

ARDMS SPI certification.

Must be eligible and certify in OB/GYN, Abdomen, Breast, or RVT within 1 year of hire. 2. RDMS Certificate in Diagnostic Medical Sonography.

Must be eligible to certify in RVT within 1 year of hire. 3. Graduate from an AMA-approved school of Radiography.

ARRT Certificate in Sonography. 1 year employed sonographer experience preferred.

Must be eligible to certify in Vascular Sonography within 1 year of hire.

Requirements

Requires a BLS certificate and a professional certification in sonography or radiography from an AMA-approved school. Candidates must be eligible to obtain specific specialty certifications within one year of hire.
