The X-ray Technologist performs diagnostic X-ray procedures, adjusts equipment settings, and positions patients for high-quality imaging. They also assist physicians with contrast media examinations and ensure patient safety throughout the imaging process.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited Registered Technologist program and hold current ARRT certification and state licensure. At least two years of experience in X-ray and current CPR certification are preferred.
Heath Images at Boulder is seeking a full-time X-ray Technologist to join our team. Position Pay Range $28.36 - $36.56| Monday-Friday; 8:30am - 5:00pm|
The X-Ray Technologist performs various types of diagnostic X-Ray procedures, adjusts X-Ray equipment settings, determines proper voltage/exposure and positions patient. Performs specific procedures utilizing ionizing radiation. Assists physicians in assigned examination utilizing contrast media and/or specific tomographic examinations.

This position has no supervision responsibilities.
This job operates in an environmentally controlled outpatient clinical environment. Potential exposure to radiation, which is minimized by the use of Personal Protective Equipment. Possible exposure to bodily fluids, communicable diseases, toxic substances, ionizing radiation and other conditions common to a medical office environment. Often requires work in cool, dimly lighted rooms.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee may exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
The employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers to handle, feel or operate objects, tools or controls and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to talk and hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
