Candidates must hold an Associate’s Degree from a NAACLS-accredited Histology program and possess ASCP (HT) certification. A minimum of 3 years of histology experience is required, along with proficiency in laboratory equipment and medical terminology.

Harris Health System is seeking a Histology Technician II to join the laboratory team at Lyndon B. Johnson Hospital. In this role, you will participate in the day-to-day operations of the laboratory, focusing on histology specimen processing. You will process and prepare patient tissue samples using established procedures and technical expertise, ensuring accuracy and quality. This role is essential in supporting timely and high-quality pathology services that contribute to accurate diagnosis and patient care.
