The Sterile Processor is responsible for receiving, inspecting, preparing, and delivering surgical instruments and equipment to support the surgical team. They must also participate in quality assessment activities while ensuring compliance with safety and infection control standards.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent and the ability to follow instructions and manage data. Preferred qualifications include completion of a sterile processing technology program and current certification as a central service technician.
