Dietitian

• Dietitian (PRN) Turning Point is currently seeking a licensed Dietitian for on-site PRN work that is vital to the successful operation of our behavioral health facility.
• The dietitian is responsible for the nutritional care, treatment, rehabilitation, and education to patients based on patient assessments of needs, conditions, impairments, disabilities, and age.
• Collaborates with Clinical Services and other departments to accomplish the treatment goals of Turning Point.
• In addition to the above, duties may include: Reviews and/or completes nutritional screens and assessments, formulating dietary plan with consideration of age and culturally specific nutritional needs.
• Orients patients to dietary goals and policies.
• Provides group and individual nutrition education.
• This position is PRN as needed, usually scheduled in advance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Dietetics/Nutrition or related field required.
• Licensed by the State of Georgia Registered with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics) Two (2) years of experience as a Clinical Dietitian preferred.
• Experience working with Substance Abuse/Behavioral Health patients preferred.
• Must work well both independently and as part of interdisciplinary team.
