The Hospital Specimen Associate is responsible for the accurate and timely preparation of patient specimens within a hospital laboratory environment. They must follow pre-analytical processing procedures while working effectively with team members and hospital systems.
Candidates should have 1-3 years of work experience and the ability to perform 6,000 alphanumeric keystrokes per hour. A medical background or previous experience in a hospital laboratory is preferred.
$17.75+ per hour
Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. Successful candidates may be eligible to receive annual performance bonus compensation.

The Hospital Specimen Associate is responsible for the preparation of patient’s specimens in a hospital location where multiple Hospital Specimen Associates work together with minimal direction. The Hospital Specimen Associate must be able to perform and follow all pre-analytical processing procedures with accuracy and in a timely manner.
