The Occupational Therapist will evaluate client abilities and develop individualized treatment plans to improve functional independence. They will also collaborate with families and interdisciplinary teams while providing therapeutic interventions and caregiver education.
Candidates must hold a Master’s or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy and possess current Texas licensure. Experience with pediatric, adult, or community-based services is preferred, along with strong communication skills.

Bay Area Rehabilitation Center (BARC) is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team. In this role, you will support individuals of all ages in developing the skills needed for daily living, independence, and meaningful participation in their communities. Evaluate clients’ physical, sensory, and cognitive abilities Develop and implement individualized, goal-oriented treatment plans Provide therapeutic interventions to improve functional independence Collaborate with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members Educate caregivers on strategies to support progress at home and in the community Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with state and program requirements Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
Master’s or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy Current Texas licensure as an Occupational Therapist Experience with pediatric, adult, or community-based services preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Passion for working with individuals with disabilities CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
