Job Description
The Pharmacy Intern I is an entry level position responsible for assisting in procuring, distributing and preparing pharmaceuticals and supplies. Must work effectively under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist to completely meet the drug needs of the hospitalized patient.
Education
The applicant must be enrolled in an ACPE accredited school/college of pharmacy or have documentation of acceptance into ACPE accredited school/college of pharmacy to starting within the next 12 months.

- Skills: Ability to perform work accurately with attention to detail within specified time periods; handle frequent interruptions and adapt to changes in workload and schedule; set priorities and solve problems; respond quickly to emergency requests; communicate effectively (orally and in writing); assist in meeting the needs of neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, other computer systems software, copiers, fax machines and other office equipment as necessary. Must have ability to prioritize work of self. Must possess excellent math skills. Must be able to pay attention to detail.
