Provides assessment and treatment for communication and swallowing disorders in both adult and pediatric populations. Administers diagnostic tests and trains for competency in performing videofluoroscopic swallow studies.
Requires a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology and a temporary California license by the date of hire. Candidates must also hold a National Provider Identifier and Basic Life Support certification.
Under the direct supervision of a licensed therapist, provides evaluation and treatment for communication disorders.
Provides assessment and treatment of communication and swallowing disorders for both adult and pediatric populations. Administers diagnostic tests and implements appropriate treatments. Advises physicians and patients of test results. Trains for competency on performing videofluroscopic swallow studies. Kaiser Permanente conducts compensation reviews of positions on a routine basis. At any time, Kaiser Permanente reserves the right to reevaluate and change job descriptions, or to change such positions from salaried to hourly pay status. Such changes are generally implemented only after notice is given to affected employees.
