The Certified Nursing Assistant supports nursing staff by assisting patients with activities of daily living, hygiene, and mobility. They also perform basic clinical tasks such as recording vital signs and maintaining a clean, safe unit environment.
Candidates must hold a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license and Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with the ability to perform physical tasks like lifting up to 50 lbs.
Education High School Diploma or Equivalent including education equivalent to completion of secondary school or demonstrated ability to perform the essential functions of the role. (Preferred) Licenses/Certifications CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant in the state of practice Upon Hire (Required) and BCLS - Basic Life Support Like AHA or Red Cross Within Facility-Specified time frame (Required) Experience 6 months in an acute care or long-term care facility (Preferred)
