The LPN provides direct, individualized patient care under the supervision of an RN, including medication administration and health screenings. They are also responsible for reporting patient conditions and maintaining compliance with nursing care plans and safety standards.
Candidates must hold a high school diploma or equivalent and a degree in nursing or completion of an LPN program. An active LPN license and BLS certification are required, with additional certifications potentially needed based on the department.
