The Diagnostician conducts comprehensive diagnostic interviews and assessments to determine eligibility for services. They are responsible for developing individualized recovery care plans and collaborating with the clinical team to assign appropriate treatment.
Candidates must hold a Master's degree in social work, psychology, or a related field and meet criteria for a qualified mental health professional. Additionally, they must be a fully licensed clinical social worker or professional counselor in Missouri with at least one year of experience in substance use disorders.
The Diagnostician is responsible for providing a comprehensive assessment. The Diagnostician will assess all problem areas, recommend an appropriate level of care and develop an interpretative summary from which individualized recovery care plan goals are developed.
