The counselor provides direct counseling and case management services, including individual and group sessions, assessments, and individualized treatment plans. They are responsible for maintaining patient caseloads while adhering to state licensure, CARF, and HIPAA standards.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree in chemical dependency, psychology, social work, counseling, or a related field. Proficiency in state licensure standards and clinical documentation is required.
Maintain caseload per State Regulations Assures incoming patients have psychosocial assessment and a interpretive summary according to the timeline in the ARS Policies and Procedure Manual Completes, with patient participation, a Preliminary Treatment Plan according to the timeline in the ARS Policies and Procedure Manual. Completes a Treatment Plan Review and update for each patient after completion of the Comprehensive Treatment Plan according to the timeline in the ARS Policies and Procedure Manual Prepares an aftercare transition plan for all patients at the earliest possible time and to review prior to discharge Be proficient with State Licensure Standards, CARF Standards, 42 CFR and HIPAA standards and Company policies Qualifications A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college with a major in chemical dependency, psychology, social work, counseling, or other related field
