The Electrophysiologist will deliver a mix of bread-and-butter and complex electrophysiology services across clinics, hospitals, and an ambulatory surgery center. They will work collaboratively with a team of physicians and advanced practice providers to ensure high-quality cardiovascular care.

Electrophysiologist Village Heart & Vein Center | The Villages & Leesburg, Florida

Position Overview Village Heart & Vein Center is seeking a full-time Electrophysiologist to join our growing physician-led cardiovascular practice serving The Villages, Leesburg, and surrounding Central Florida communities. This is a dedicated electrophysiology opportunity with responsibilities across clinic, hospital, and ambulatory surgery center (ASC) settings.

Key responsibilities/services include

  • Diagnosis and treatment of cardiac arrhythmias, both standard and complex
  • Performance of routine and complex catheter ablations
  • Implantation and management of cardiac devices
  • Electrophysiology studies, intracardiac mapping, remote monitoring, and comprehensive inpatient/outpatient EP care
  • Opportunities for watchman implantation and other electrophysiology-related structural heart procedures

The incoming physician will provide a broad mix of bread-and-butter and complex electrophysiology services while working alongside APPs, nurses, medical assistants, and administrative staff across both inpatient and outpatient settings.

Shared call responsibilities provide a supportive physician environment and strong work-life balance with a Monday–Friday schedule.

Compensation includes a highly competitive base salary, production incentives, additional incentives, sign-on bonus, comprehensive benefits package, partnership/equity opportunities, and an optional accelerated partnership track.

Qualifications

  • Electrophysiology Fellowship Program
  • Board Certified in Cardiovascular Medicine
  • Completion of accredited Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Medicine, and Electrophysiology training programs
  • MD or DO
  • Eligible for Florida medical licensure
  • Open to experienced Electrophysiologists and current fellows
  • Strong commitment to patient care, quality outcomes, and teamwork
  • J1 and H1-B physician waiver sponsorship available

Village Heart & Vein Center is a Partner Practice of Cardiovascular Associates of America (CVAUSA).

Requirements

Candidates must be board certified in cardiovascular medicine and fellowship-trained in electrophysiology. An MD or DO license in Florida or eligibility is required, along with completion of a U.S.-accredited internal medicine and cardiovascular fellowship.
