Performs acquisition and analysis of extensive statistical data complied in non-invasive vascular procedures.
Vascular Laboratory incorporated within the Ultrasound Department. Assists physicians utilizing ultrasound in the performance of special procedures involving aspirations, biopsies and for guidance of needle placement procedures. Maintains proper sterile techniques for procedures; regularly practices aseptic techniques and strictly obeys isolation and infection control procedures; prevents cross contamination during procedures. Follows cleaning and high level disinfection of semi-critical devices, policy and procedures. Assists and supports a new or transferred employee through a planned orientation. Utilizes LEAN methodology to improve work flow processes for increased quality of patient care and improved outcomes. Assumes On-Call responsibilities as assigned by Supervisor.
