The Medical Assistant provides clinical and administrative support, including assisting physicians with patient care, collecting vital signs, and performing diagnostic tests like EKGs. They also manage clerical tasks such as scheduling appointments, maintaining medical records, and ensuring efficient patient flow.
Candidates must hold a high school diploma or GED and a medical assistant diploma from an accredited institution. Preference is given to those with at least 3 years of experience in family practice, internal medicine, or urgent care settings.
