The Psychiatric RN provides nursing assessments, direct-support services, and primary health screenings to individuals with mental illness and substance use conditions. They also coordinate care with community providers and educate patients and families on medication management and symptom recovery.
Candidates must hold a valid New Jersey Registered Nurse license and have at least one year of experience working with individuals with serious mental illness. A bachelor's degree in nursing is preferred, and a valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.

Provides support and education to other team members in nursing/medical treatment and health care.

RNs provide nursing assessment, direct-support services, and primary health screening to individuals whose goals include recovery from mental illness and substance use conditions. PACT RNs use their skills to provide leadership, support, and education to other team members in nursing/medical treatment and health care. They are an essential part of a multi-disciplinary team working together to provide individuals the tools to become and remain stable and healthy. PACT RNs receive ongoing training, and supportive supervision as they deliver evidence-based interventions, and wrap-around services. You will be taking vitals, drawing blood, injections and assessments.
