The Electrophysiologist will provide comprehensive cardiovascular care, including performing catheter ablations and managing cardiac devices. They will work collaboratively within a team of cardiologists and advanced practice providers to diagnose and treat cardiac arrhythmias.
Candidates must hold an MD or DO degree, have completed a Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology Fellowship, and be board certified or eligible in the field. Proficiency in catheter ablation and cardiac device management is required, along with active state and DEA medical licensure.
A well-established and highly respected cardiology program is seeking a patient-centered and empathetic Electrophysiologist to join its growing team. This comprehensive program offers the full spectrum of cardiovascular services, including non-invasive, interventional, and electrophysiology care. The program is supported by advanced imaging, vascular, and cardiothoracic surgery services, creating a collaborative and high-functioning clinical environment. Position Overview Join a team of 12 Cardiologists and 6 Nurse Practitioners Strong support from the Vascular Surgery and Cardiothoracic Surgery teams Office location conveniently situated near the cath labs and the inpatient hospital Call schedule: Shared on an equal, rotating basis Dedicated Electrophysiology (EP) cath lab Dedicated EP Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) In-office device clinic offering: Device interrogations Remote monitoring Procedures & Services Radiofrequency (RF) ablation Cryoablation Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR) Watchman procedures MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school Completion of Internal Medicine Residency, Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship, and Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology Fellowship Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease Board Certified or Board Eligible in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology Eligible for or active state medical license Active or eligible for DEA license Demonstrated experience in the diagnosis and management of cardiac arrhythmias Proficiency in catheter ablation (radiofrequency and cryoablation) and cardiac device implantation/management (pacemakers, ICDs) Ability to interpret ECGs, Holter monitors, and other cardiac monitoring data Current BLS and ACLS certifications Competitive base salary Eligible for Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) Comprehensive benefits package, including: Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance 403(b) retirement plan with employer match Medical malpractice insurance with tail coverage Annual CME allowance Additional lifestyle/perks benefits
