The Medical Assistant provides clinical support to physicians and mid-level providers by preparing patients for exams, measuring vital signs, and documenting information. They are also responsible for maintaining clinical supplies, ensuring regulatory compliance, and assisting with laboratory procedures and patient communication.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or G.E.D. and at least one year of relevant clinical experience or completion of an accredited medical assistant program. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and adherence to OSHA, CLIA, and HIPAA regulations are required.
