This position provides case management services for families in the Hope Project, including facilitating orientations and quarterly gatherings. The coordinator also manages data collection, billing records, and connects families with essential support services.
Candidates must have a bachelor's degree in behavioral health or a related field and at least two years of experience in the mental health field. Experience working with the Alaska Native/American Indian population and families is also required.
The goal of the Hope Project is to improve mental health outcomes for children and youth at risk for or with serious emotional disturbance (SED) and to bring new hope through its comprehensive and early intervention approach for the children, youth, and their families.
This position is responsible for providing case management services for project family participants (consumers). The position orients families to the Hope Project which leads the families to attend monthly individual meetings and facilitated group quarterly meetings.
