The Advanced Practice Provider will provide direct patient care in a high-volume urgent care setting, including performing physical exams, diagnostic testing, and therapeutic procedures. They will also document care, consult with physicians, and participate in quality improvement and clinical research activities.
Candidates must have completed an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program and hold or be eligible for a South Carolina license. A minimum of one year of experience in urgent care, primary care, or emergency medicine is required, along with BLS and ACLS certifications.

MUSC Health Elgin Urgent Care is searching for a part-time Advanced Practice Provider. The successful applicant will be an APP interested in working part-time to care for patients at MUSC Health’s Urgent Care located in Elgin, SC. The APP will join a busy and thriving urgent care working alongside physicians and advanced practice providers and must be able to work in a high-volume clinic while providing compassionate patient care. About MUSC Health Elgin Urgent Care: Elgin Urgent Care Medical Pavilion provides 24/7 access to immediate medical care for non-emergent conditions. The center focuses on delivering prompt and convenient treatment for urgent but non-emergency health issues. Required Qualifications: Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program and currently licensed or eligible for licensure as a Physician Assistant or completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program and currently licensed or eligible for licensure as an APRN as noted below. Physician Assistant OR APRN FNP (Family NP): (birth to death) Stable chronic disease state management, primary care across the lifespan. Minimum of 1 year experience as an APP in urgent care, primary care, or emergency medicine.
