The Surgical Assistant supports oral surgeons by maintaining a sterile environment, assisting during procedures, and documenting patient care. They are also responsible for obtaining radiographs and monitoring patient status throughout the surgical process.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and possess or be willing to obtain BLS certification. Preferred qualifications include previous oral surgery experience, DAANCE certification, and status as a licensed dental assistant.
