Pharmacy Tech PRN

Summary of job

• Assists in the filling and compounding of all patient medication orders under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist.
• Delivers medications and maintains adequate stock levels in all areas of the hospital.
• Duties and responsibilities comply with legal, regulatory, and hospital requirements.

Recruitment requirements

Detail oriented and can perform a variety of activities involving the use of a computer and manipulative tasks. Must be able to perform dosage calculations. Must interact effectively with all levels of hospital personnel. LICENSE AND REGULATORY REQUIREMENTS: High school graduate minimum. Certified Technician preferred.
