Requires a high school diploma or GED and completion of an orthopedic specialist course or six months of relevant experience. Candidates must be capable of assisting with minor orthopedic procedures and maintaining clear communication.
Provides safe, efficient, and therapeutically effective patient care as delegated by orthopedist. Applies and removes casts/splints as ordered by physician.
