The Long Term Care RN is responsible for managing patient care, administering medications, and providing medical treatments according to the established plan of care. They also supervise nursing assistants, monitor high-risk patients, and maintain accurate medical records while communicating effectively with the healthcare team.
Candidates must be a registered nurse with a current South Dakota license and BLS certification, with a BSN preferred. Proficiency in computerized health information systems, specifically Point Click Care and Microsoft Office, is required.
Responsible for achieving positive patient outcomes and managing quality of care across the continuum of care. The LTC nurse will primarily serve as an advocate for our patients.
WORK SCHEDULE 6am - 6 pm or flexible schedule
QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION: A registered nurse with a current license in South Dakota is needed, BSN is preferred. Self-directed. Current BLS certification Must be able to communicate effectively with providers and all levels of Philip Health Services, Inc. staff.
Experience with computerized health information systems is needed. Knowledge of Point Click Care (PCC) is strongly preferred. Must be familiar with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office applications.
