The Speech Language Pathologist will evaluate and treat patients with speech, hearing, swallowing, and cognitive disabilities. They will develop and implement individualized treatment plans while maintaining accurate clinical records and collaborating with the healthcare team.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Speech Language Pathology and possess a current state license. A valid CPR certification is required, and experience in a long-term care environment is preferred.
A Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) will evaluate and treat residents/patients with temporary or long-term speech, hearing, swallowing, and cognitive disabilities in compliance with state and federal guidelines. They will evaluate the resident’s/patient’s speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice, swallowing, and fluency and develop treatment plans. They will treat the residents/patients based on a physician’s treatment plan.
Bachelor of Science degree in Speech Language Pathology required.
Current license in Speech Language Therapy as required by state law. Valid CPR certification required.
Six months experience in a long-term care environment preferred.
