The primary role is to function as a physician extender/substitute for procedures performed in radiology, assisting with direct patient care services and inpatient consults. This includes assisting the physician with physical examinations, determining medical histories, diagnosing and treating illnesses or injuries, and developing patient management plans.

The salary range for this position is $120,000-$160,000. Final determinations may vary based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, geographic location etc. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Candidates must be Board certified and hold current BLS and ACLS certifications, along with a DEA certificate. Applicants must be licensed or eligible for licensure as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner in Kentucky, with radiology experience being preferred.
