The Physical Therapist Assistant will deliver direct patient care under the supervision of a Physical Therapist according to established treatment plans. They are also responsible for monitoring patient progress, maintaining accurate medical documentation, and educating patients and families on home exercises.
Candidates must hold an Associate’s degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program. Additionally, a current PTA license in the State of New Hampshire is required.
Cottage Hospital is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our collaborative Physical Therapy team. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about helping patients regain function and improve quality of life through personalized rehabilitation care.
Working under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, the PTA provides direct patient care in accordance with established treatment plans and physician orders. You will play an important role in supporting patients across the lifespan, ensuring care is appropriate to their individual needs and stage of development.
