The surgical technologist is responsible for maintaining a sterile environment and assisting surgeons by passing instruments and supplies during procedures. They also manage inventory, clean surgical areas, and assist with patient positioning.

Responsible for the overall cleanliness of the surgical areas, ancillary rooms, and the equipment housed in them.
Assist the professional staff in carrying out specific tasks associated with the care of the surgical patient.
Shall be knowledgeable and abide by Hospital, Human Resources, and departmental policies and procedures.
Performs other duties as needed in support of departmental and institutional needs and requirements.
Stand or walk 90% of the work shift.
Occasional exposure to infectious diseases.
Work area is well lit and ventilated.
May be exposed to a small amount of radiation from x-rays, anesthetic gases, caustic chemicals, and a large amount of blood and its byproducts.
May find sharps objects and broken equipment.
We appreciate a 2 shift per month commitment for per diem roles.
Candidates must be knowledgeable in hospital and departmental policies and procedures. The role requires the physical ability to stand or walk for 90% of the work shift.
