The Medical Assistant will support the clinical team by collecting patient vitals, performing lab tests, and managing immunizations. They are also responsible for maintaining clinical records, assisting with medication reconciliation, and ensuring a clean, organized clinical environment.
Candidates must possess a High School Diploma or equivalent, with a Medical Assistant Certificate preferred. The role requires proficiency in Microsoft Office, strong communication skills, and the ability to maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.

Position Overview - (part-time/<24 hours Monday to Wednesday) Under the direction of the Administrative Director and onsite Clinical Director, the Medical Assistant will work as part of a treatment team to provide exceptional medical, mental health, and addiction recovery services to our patients by assisting the providers with collecting patient histories, vitals, performing routine lab collection, preparing lab specimens for transfer, immunization management with IRIS (Idaho) or the WyIR (Wyoming), Immunization administration to clients and patient education. Maintain general appearance, cleanliness, inventory, and organization of clinical areas. Prepare and replenish supplies. Maintain inventory and expiration dates. Prepare patients for examination. Take patient histories, height, weight, temperature, blood pressure, oxygenation levels and pulse. Prepare and administer patient medication under provider's supervision. Assist in collection of specimens and completion of laboratory tests. Receive and organize medication samples. Ensuring medication expiration check is conducted monthly. Properly dispose of contaminated and disposable items. Assists in the proper scheduling and registration of patients, and the maintenance of patient medical records. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations at all times. Observe patient care while receiving treatment such as TMS therapy or SPRAVATO® Communicate medical treatment, pharmaceutical, and related information to patient’s and respective health care providers and pharmacies as directed by providers.
