About the role

The Physical Therapist Assistant will assist in evaluating and providing hands-on treatment to patients in home care settings. They are responsible for implementing treatment plans, guiding patients through exercises, and documenting patient progress.

Benchmark Therapy and Rehab is a large therapy practice providing services to a multitude of providers in Home Health, and we are seeking compassionate and driven Physical Therapists to join our therapy team.

Position Summary

Physical Therapist Assistant- Home Care

Requirements: and Responsibilities:

Assists one or more Physical Therapists in evaluating and providing treatment to help patients recover from injury, disease, or surgery in a home care setting.

Prepares patients and equipment for therapy and implements treatment plans specified by the therapist.

Instructs the patient and guides them in exercises and stretching.

Provides hands-on therapy and treatments.

Records patients' reaction to treatment and provides status reports at the end of each treatment.

Requires graduation from an accredited physical therapist assistant program.

Requires a state physical therapist assistant license.

Reports to physical therapist.

Must have a valid Driver's License
