About the Role

• As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at EMH, you will play a vital role in providing compassionate and high-quality care to patients within our healthcare facility.
• Your primary focus will be to support nursing staff by assisting patients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and dignity.
• You will be responsible for monitoring patients' health status and reporting any changes to the nursing team promptly.

Minimum Qualifications

• Current and valid CNA certification recognized by the state.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic knowledge of patient care and safety procedures.
• Ability to pass a background check and health screening.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working as a CNA in a healthcare setting.
• CPR and First Aid certification.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Additional training in specialized care areas such as geriatrics or rehabilitation.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding.
• Monitor and record vital signs including temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure.
• Provide mobility support by helping patients move safely within the facility and assisting with exercises as directed.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment by following infection control protocols and assisting with room preparation.
