The Senior Nutrition Assistant provides essential WIC-related nutrition services and eligibility assessments to clients and families. The role involves supporting individuals with limited English proficiency in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
Candidates must possess a high school diploma or GED and have considerable experience in lactation challenges, adult education, and direct human services. Additionally, applicants are required to hold State certification as a WIC Competent Professional Authority and specialized lactation management certification.
