The Mental Health Specialist provides direct support services to individuals and families, including case management, advocacy, and behavioral interventions. They are responsible for maintaining accurate documentation and actively participating in treatment team meetings.
Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree in a behavioral science and possess a valid California driver's license with a clean driving record. Experience working with children, youth, or families is preferred, along with the ability to perform physical tasks such as restraint techniques.
Under the direct supervision of the assigned Supervisor, the Mental Health Specialist has responsibility for providing support services to individuals and families as identified in the designated program and/or individualized plan.
1. Must have a Bachelors degree in a behavioral science (Psychology, Sociology, Social Work). 2. Two years' experience working with children, youth and/or families preferred. 3. Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred.
