We are looking for a committed Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to treat our patients in accordance with orders of the physician to maximize functional potentials in all areas of their lives. We are a therapist-owned and operated agency, so we understand your unique professional needs. Qualifications

• proven work experience as a COTA
• Intensive education and clinical expertise
• Ability to manage patients with different types of personalities
• Current knowledge of treatment practices
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills
• Valid license to practice occupational therapy
• One year experience in a pediatric setting preferred
• Experience in Home Health is a plus but not necessary

Responsibilities

• Identify and meet patients’ goals and needs
• Provide quality, personalized and evidence-based care and proven interventions
• Motivate patients during treatment in order to help them function optimally
• Consult and practice with other health professionals
• Monitor and communicate progress
• Document patient care services
