The ideal candidate would have at least one year experience in veterinary care and be proficient in: Cleaning and disinfecting patient’s cages.
Cleaning and disinfecting all areas of the treatment room (floors, countertops etc.) Helping create comfortable sleeping quarters for our patients by doing laundry Assist technician staff with walking and feeding patients.
Unpacking packages and deliveries of hospital supplies.
Restocking hospital and pharmacy supplies.
Running in-hospital lab work.
Assisting technicians in taking radiographs.
Ability to properly restrain patients for lab work, exams, and treatments.
Able to learn veterinary software INSTINCT and medical record keeping.

Previous experience in pet care or veterinary settings is preferred. Knowledge of veterinary terminology and procedures. Ability to handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed Ability to stand for prolonged hours, kneel, work on the floor as well as ability to lift up to 50 lbs. on own and able to support up to 80 lbs. with assistance.
