The RN provides critical care to patients in the ICU, managing hemodynamic stability and sedation levels. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, devising care plans, and utilizing advanced monitoring and invasive equipment.
Candidates must have an Associate's degree in Nursing and a valid Massachusetts RN license. Prior experience in ICU, Critical Care, or Step Down nursing is ideal, as the role is not for new graduates.
Required: Graduation from an accredited nursing program with an Associate’s degree in Nursing is required. Valid RN license in Massachusetts. Ideal candidates will have one or more years of ICU, Critical Care, or Step Down nursing experience Preferred: BLS/CPR certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross) ACLS certification, support available for certification post-hire. Important Consideration This role is not designed for new graduates or those seeking Intensive Care nursing training. Candidates must be able to function independently in the ICU. Position Highlights: Per Diem – Rotating Shifts Shift requirement for this Option B position will require a commitment for: four shifts over a month. You will be required to work two holidays per year. This can be altered to three weekend shifts (Sat/Sun) per month.
