The pharmacist is responsible for executing drug dosing, monitoring protocols, and providing drug information. They also manage the distribution of patient medication according to physician orders and maintain the facility's formulary.
Candidates must hold a B.S. in pharmacy and a current Virginia pharmacy license. Two to five years of hospital pharmacy experience is required, along with the physical ability to perform rounds and transport supplies.
Education- B.S. in pharmacy from a college accredited by the American Council on Pharmaceutical Evaluation. Licensure-Must possess current Virginia License issued by the board of Pharmacy.
