Must hold an active LVN license in the state of Texas and be comfortable working in an outdoor setting with animals. Requires proficiency in EMR systems and the ability to maintain professionalism in high-acuity situations.
We are seeking a dedicated and self-motivated Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our team. This role requires someone who is not only clinically proficient but also thrives in an outdoor, ranch-style environment. As an LVN at Roots Renewal Ranch, you will play a crucial role in supporting our clients and staff, ensuring high-quality care, and collaborating with the clinical team to achieve strong client outcomes. The position works sixteen hour shifts as needed. What you'll do Provide nursing care to adolescent clients in accordance with treatment plans and medical protocols. Collaborate effectively with the clinical team to support individualized client care and recovery goals. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) system. Communicate professionally via email and other communication platforms. Exhibit strong critical thinking and decision-making skills in routine and emergent situations. Serve as a calm and steady presence for both staff and clients, especially during crises. Support the therapeutic benefits of the ranch environment, including outdoor activities and interactions with animals. Monitor clients’ health, administer medications, and assist with routine and emergent medical needs.
Active LVN license in the state of Texas. Proven ability to work independently and manage responsibilities with minimal supervision. Proficiency in email communication and electronic medical records (EMR) usage. Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Comfort working in an outdoor ranch setting, including alongside animals. Exceptional interpersonal skills to support and guide staff and clients. Ability to adapt and maintain professionalism in a dynamic, high-acuity environment.
