Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans. Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care while maintaining accurate documentation and ensuring patient safety.
Requires an Associate Degree in Nursing and a current Iowa nursing license. PALS certification is preferred for pediatric nursing duties.
Collaborates with patients, families, and the care team to develop and implement individualized care plans Delivers high-quality, patient-centered care using clinical judgment and critical thinking Communicates effectively with providers, team members, and patients to ensure coordinated care Accurately documents patient care in the EMR to support quality and compliance Delegates and supports team members based on scope, skills, and patient needs Recognizes changes in patient condition and escalates concerns appropriately Prioritizes patient safety, quality outcomes, and infection prevention in all aspects of care Participates in ongoing education and training to maintain and grow clinical expertise
Education: Associate Degree of Nursing Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred License(s)/Certification(s): Current license in the state of Iowa or meets criteria established by Iowa Board of Nursing. PALS for any pediatric nurse preferred
