About the Role

Join Above and Beyond Family Recovery Center as a Liaison for Street Psychiatry, where you will play a vital role in connecting vulnerable populations with essential mental health services. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the Chicago community by bridging the gap between individuals experiencing homelessness and psychiatric care.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with local shelters, hospitals, and community organizations to facilitate access to psychiatric services.
• Document interactions and progress in compliance with organizational policies.
• Participate in outreach events to promote mental health awareness and services.
• Serves as a liaison between groups departments, or organizations to promote efficiency.
• Serves as the primary point of contact between organizations.
• Coordinates scheduling and participant involvement for activities, ensuring alignment with grant goals, budget, timelines, and regulatory requirements.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with diverse populations.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously & meet deadlines.
• Compassionate demeanor with a strong commitment to client advocacy.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for outreach activities.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
