The Registered Nurse coordinates total nursing care for patients, including assessing conditions, developing care plans, and administering treatments. They also act as a patient advocate, collaborate with medical staff, and provide education to patients and their families.
Candidates must hold an Associate’s Degree in Nursing and a current RN license in the state of practice. The role requires 1 year or less of experience and the ability to obtain BCLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
This position coordinates total nursing care for patients, participates in patient and family teaching, acts as a patient advocate and works as part of a team with ancillary and non-nursing departments.

Associate’s Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
Experience: 1 year or less
BCLS upon completion of hospital orientation; ACLS and PALS within six months of hire or transfer date to position.
Licenses: Current RN license in state of practice
Ability to understand, communicate, and react effectively to patient and family needs.

Works in well-lit, ventilated and climate-controlled office environment with routine office equipment; some equipment has moving mechanical parts.
In hospital environment, may be exposed to hazards and unusual elements, which may include but are not limited to bloodborne pathogens and / or contagious illnesses, toxic chemicals, and biohazardous materials which may require extensive safety precautions and the use of protective equipment.
Noise level in the work environment is typical for an office and/or hospital environment.
