The Radiologic Technologist performs radiographic procedures to produce images for interpretation by licensed practitioners. They are responsible for maintaining high accuracy in positioning, radiation safety, and patient care.

They must maintain knowledge of radiation protection and safety. prepare, administer and document activities related to contrast media and medications in accordance with state and federal regulations or institutional policy. remain sensitive to the physical , cultural and emotional needs of the patient through good communication, patient assessment, patient monitoring and patient care skills
Education Requirements Post High School Diploma Program Experience Relevant Experience Certification and Licensure BLS Certification RT (R) ARRT or Certification eligible technologists hired upon graduation pass examination prior to start date
