The Medical Assistant will assist physicians and practitioners with routine clinical tasks such as blood draws, vital signs, and immunizations. They are responsible for maintaining smooth patient flow and anticipating the needs of both patients and healthcare providers.
Candidates must be graduates of an approved Medical Assistant program and possess proficiency in medical terminology and procedures. A Medical Assistant certification and one year of experience are preferred, along with a BLS for Healthcare Providers certification.
1. Proficient in medical procedures and medical terminology required. 2. One year experience preferred. 3. Knowledge of personal computer and relevant software applications preferred. 4. Knowledge of third party payors preferred.
